Cabinplant wins prestigeous innovation prize in France

Cabinplant A/S, a Danish pioneer in weighing and packaging food, wins an innovation award for fully automatic weighing and packaging of very sticky products, which is a major challenge for the increasing production of ready-to-eat meals. The award was won at CFIA, an international exhibition for food technology in France.

Cabinplant wins the innovation prize Trophées de l’Innovation for its MHW SF Extreme solution for fully automatic weighing and packaging of very sticky products.

– At Cabinplant, we’re very excited to announce that we have been selected by a panel of expert judges as a winner of the Trophées de l’Innovation innovation prize at the CFIA exhibition taking place in Rennes, France, says Jan Tøffner Andersen, Marketing Manager, Cabinplant A/S.

MHW SF Extreme was selected from among 100 participating products in the competition, and the solution addresses a gap in the market: the food industry’s so far unsolved challenges in automating the production of ready-to-eat meals with very sticky ingredients.

– We were awarded the Trophées de l’Innovation because MHW SF Extreme is an innovative and useful solution that can fully automate the production of ready-to-eat meals, which is characterized by many time-consuming manual processes, says Anders Toft, responsible for the French market.

The solution from Cabinplant kicks in exactly where costs can skyrocket – manual work, cleaning and conversion. Manual work can be reduced by up to 70%, while cleaning and changeover can be reduced to just 5-10 minutes.
