Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG)

Cabinplant A/S has delivered complex machinery to customers in the global food industry for more than 55 years. Throughout the years, we have been aware of the responsibility that comes with running a business — responsibility toward our employees, our customers, the local community, and our shared resources. Fulfilling that responsibility requires a fundamental sense of integrity, which we safeguard in everything we do.

Energy consumption & water

As a global manufacturer, we are mindful of the resources it takes to keep our production running, from building and testing machines to everyday operations at our facility. We keep track of our energy use, from electricity to fuel, so we have a clear picture of where it goes, and water use is monitored closely too. It has always been an important task for us to improve and optimize our solutions so they can support food production for as long as possible. We also work closely with customers to develop machines that support lower energy consumption in their own production.

Resource use, circular economy, & waste

Steel is at the heart of everything we build, and we take that responsibility seriously. Through our partnership with Outokumpu, we ensure offcuts and scrap from production are collected and returned to the circular loop rather than going to waste. Our employees play an active role in this, sorting materials carefully across our facilities. It is a simple habit that adds up to a real difference over a year.

Machine and food safety

Safety is something we build into every machine, not something we add on afterward. From hygienic design to safe maintenance access, we follow recognized safety standards and food contact regulations at every stage. For us, this is not just about compliance — a human life carries the same value no matter where our equipment ends up. It is a principle we hold onto in every project.

People

Our people are what make Cabinplant what it is — skilled, dedicated, and often with us for many years. We also take pride in supporting young people through apprenticeships and trainee programs, giving them a place to learn and grow. Beyond that, we focus on keeping our workplace safe and open, so colleagues feel comfortable raising concerns before small issues become bigger ones. It is this everyday care that shapes our culture.
