Cabinplant and MULTIVAC in strategic alliance

MULTIVAC offers solutions for packing food products of all types, as well as for the labelling and inspection of finished packs and secondary packaging. The company’s strengths also include the customized development of complete packaging lines and the integration of partner equipment. The cooporation between the companies consists of two agreements; firstly, one including the poultry processing company, Meyn when regarding poultry processing, and secondly, an agreement between Cabinplant and MULTIVAC regarding projects and lines for meals, fish and meat. The alliance extends to virtually all markets worldwide.

Together with MULTIVAC, Cabinplant has delivered solutions to several companies, one of them being the largets red meat processor in Turkey. This customer was weighing döner-meat manually in portions of 300g, resulting in high give-away and labor cost. But with a joint solution from Cabinplant and MULTIVAC utilizing the Cabinplant Multihead Weigher, which weighs, and portions 300g batches of döner-meat. The meat is then distributed onto a MULTIVAC Thermoformer.

The result being that the customer is now achieving a much higher accuracy in their production with less than 0,5% give-away. Futher, they have less manual work on the line, and have thereby also reduced labor cost. Both aspects resulting in significant savings.
