Spring roll processing


Although spring rolls were originally served on the first day of the Chinese New Year - also being the first day of the lunar year's spring - they are now consumed all the year round and world-wide. With their multiple fillings they make up a tasty and nutritious meal, either alone or served with various side dishes. 

Traditionally, the manufacture of spring rolls has been highly labour-intensive. However, Cabinplant can provide unique processing equipment, which maintains the characteristics and quality of the hand-made spring rolls, whilst being both inexpensive and labour-saving. In this way it is possible to maintain exactly the right consistency of the papery pancake, to dose and place the filling extremely accurately, and to roll the pancake in the traditional manner.

  • Application and baking of batter, dosing and application of filling, folding and rolling, using a spring roll machine
  • Placing of rolls on e.g. a freezing belt or a belt for pre-frying before freezing
  • Weighing or counting prior to packing in e.g. bags or boxes, using a multihead weigher
