Can rectifying system The Cabinplant can rectifying system is designed to rectify conical oblong cans, which have been stored randomly in autoclave baskets. The system is installed in front of the final packing system for carton boxes, where the cans are packed manually or automatically.
The system positions the can correctly on the sole, and if it is an easy-open can it is turned with the 'pull-ring' to correct position. Incorrectly positioned cans are rejected, guided back to the infeed and run through the system again. The cans are guided to an exit with one or two lanes, depending on capacity, and are now ready to be conveyed to subsequent final packaging.
Maximum capacity is 250 cans/min. The capacity of the system is determined by the number of rectifying tracks/lanes. Each track/lane is approx. 25 cans/min. The system is adapted to specific needs.
The can rectifying system is equipped with: - Hydraulic tipper for autoclave baskets
- Accumulation and infeed conveyor
- Specially designed elevator to ensure that only one can at a time goes to one of the rectifying tracks/lanes of the rectifying chute
- Rectifying chute, divided into tracks/lanes*, where the cans are turned and placed on the sole
- Accumulation conveyor, where the cans are guided into tracks/lanes*, and wait to be discharged and guided to an outlet
- Reject system for cans, which are not placed on the sole
- Servo-driven turning system for rotation of easy-open cans so the 'pull-ring' is in the right direction.
* Number of tracks/lanes depends on capacity.
