Rotor grader The Cabinplant rotor grader grades different products by weight, e.g. head-on/headless warm-water shrimps. It is designed to weigh items statically, thus providing an unparalleled accuracy which is more or less independent of speed and shape of the item.
The rotor grader works with a capacity of up to 300 pieces per minute and can grade products in up to twelve grades. Weighing accuracy is greater than plus/minus 0.15 g due to statical weighing (neither load cell nor pan moves during weighing).
Product is fed manually to secure that only one piece of product is fed into the weighing pans at a time. No more than three persons are required to feed 300 pieces per minute.
The rotor grader consists of: - Infeed elevator
- Assembly pans (to be fed manually - one at a time)
- Weighing pans
- Rotating pans to move the product past the outlets
- Accumulation hoppers
Option: The rotor grader can be provided with a batching system for the graded products, e.g. 2 kg portions, and/or with belts to collect the portions after grading.
