WashingWashing is an important process in food production. It can be the washing of raw material such as spinach, root vegetables, berries, etc. prior to subsequent processing. It can also be the washing of finished product after filling and packing, e.g. feta cheese in brine packed in cups. It can be the washing of barrels or tubs used as packaging or during production, or it can be the washing of production equipment, such as hoppers for a multihead weigher.

Washing of product
Many vegetables and berries are mixed with impurities such as leaves, straw, sand and stones upon delivery to the processing plant. Cabinplant can provide various washing solutions, including drum washer, flotation washer (continuous belt), flotation washer (flume) and paddle washer.
Washing of packaging
Cabinplant can provide solutions for washing of empty packaging, such as boxes, cups, barrels and tubs as well as washing of filled sealed packaging, such as cans, glass jars, buckets, etc.
Washing of production equipment
The hoppers, which are an important part of the multihead weigher, can be cleaned gently and thoroughly using a hopper cleaner.
