Washing and separation drum The Cabinplant washing and separation drum drains water from the product, when it is fed to the drum directly from a flotation washer. It also gives the product a final wash with clean water prior to subsequent treatment. In addition, the washing and separation drum is used to separate smaller particles from the product, e.g. half peas.
The water from the washing and separation drum is filtered in a filter drum and reused in the flotation washer.
The washing and separation drum includes: - Brush for continuous cleaning of drum holes during operation
- Chute underneath drum to collect water and guide it to cleaning system
- Frame mounted with hinged doors on both sides of the drum for easy opening during cleaning.
