Coolers

Cabinplant provides a variety of coolers, which can be tailor-made solutions based on the nature of the product and the available space.

Low water consumption is a distinctive feature of all Cabinplant coolers.

Straight belt spray coolers

Spray coolers are used for many different products, packed as well as unpacked. The refrigerant is either water/ice water, air/cooled air or a combination of both. A common combination is initial cooling by evaporation and final cooling by ice water or cooled air. When a dry end product is required, cooled air is used at all times for final cooling.

The coolers are supplied with belt widths of up to 2000 mm.

Gondola coolers

Gondola coolers are mainly used for cooling of round soft-packed products. Refrigerant is usually water/ice water.

Submerged coolers

Where the nature of the product makes spray cooling an inappropriate cooling method, submerged cooling is a suitable alternative. Refrigerant is water/ice water or brine based on the principle of counter flow. Products can be cooled down to below 0°C by means of brine.
